I can say, without hesitation, that I have never had to deal with a goat.
We housed a cat once, at the old nuthouse, who ended up being adopted by one of the staff members when her owner realized that it wasn't fair to keep the cat in his van down by the river.
And there was a dog that someone else took from a patient, beautiful black shepherd.
But no goats.
One of the nurses did load a couple of domestic/canada goose crosses that were being beat up on by the canada flock into his car to take home, but still no goats.
They tell me that people can bring assistance animals to the new nuthouse. I am hoping that someone comes in with a handy-monkey.
