Ohhh Carrot loves cows. We always go see the cows in the bottom field. When he was little enough to comfortably carry I lifted him up so he could go nose to nose over the wall

They're show cows, heritage breeds I think. Can't recall but some kind of 'shorthorn'? Same colour nose as Carrot anyway :P
And according to the farmer bloke they're the most affectionate cows he's eve met. The big bull loves his head being scratched, just near his ears.
