Yes, it's a real thing, it's called "girl push-ups."
Okay, I'm joking around. If you can't do regular push-ups, most trainers will tell you to do girl push-ups, modified push-ups, push-ups done from the knee (as stated in the Gym Junkies website), or as I called it, knee push-ups.
