For dinner today, I ate "chicken rice." A whole chicken is boiled in water until cooked. The water then is used to cook the rice so it'd have the chicken flavor. The uncooked rice is cooked in oil and garlic first then cook with "chicken broth." Chicken is shredded and tossed with a Vietnamese mint "rau ram."
