scrape away the bubbling paint, sand it down to clean metal, prime, paint, clear coat, and buff.
actually, as i look closer at it, if you want this to go away permanently, you'll have to pull that back window out. I can see where the water was leaking out under the weatherstripping and getting under the paint. Might want a trip to the body shop to make it look right again. Let's see the rest of her. I love gti's. Shelby had an 84, and a 91 GLI. best "cars" i've ever driven. pocket rockets, both. the jetta used to feel like it bent around corners, it handled so well. 16V, 5 speed, recaro seats, bbs wheels, black....looked like a beemer or a volvo. sniff..sniff, i miss it SO much...sniff sniff.
I know a couple good shops down here, if you don;t mind an hour ride from c-ville to c-ford
