Good news:
My oldest daughter and I spent Friday driving 175 miles to rent a
26-ft truck and loading it full up with her household of furniture.
I then spent yesterday driving the truck back to PDX,
where she and I unloaded it into her new (to her) house.
(No accidents or harmed body parts, but nobody needs that much stuff !)
Today, we are both exhausted, but we still have 3 large pieces to come down
from the upstairs of our house where she has been living for the past year,
along with a multitude of boxes of books and papers, and clothes
and computers, and, and, and....
Bad news:
The truck rental expires in 5 hours at 11:30 this morning
