I once read an article about how from a neurological standpoint, the big difference wasn't between left-handed or right-handed, but strongly-handed versus more abidextrous. Brain scans of very left-handed and very right-handed people looked similar, while a strongly right-handed person versus a right-handed but kind of ambidextrous person looked very different.
