Oh, I've had my share of cocks that were complete dicks!
Since then, I've wised up. Instead of just letting young chickens grow up pretty much on their own, when they're very young you need to hold and cuddle and carry them (especially the roos) around with you ALL THE TIME whenever you're in the chicken yard. Once they know you're their friend - and that you're
their boss whenever you're in the chicken yard - they don't usually come after people.
