The intolerant, the insane, the provocative, the odd, the aggressive, the foul mouthed, the abusive, the misogonyst and the wilful contrarian have always existed.

There was always the individual who would shout a profanity or extreme opinion as you passed in a crowded shopping centre or in the ticket hall of a Tube station.

We could quickly forget him, or occasionally her, but now we have the internet we invite them into our homes. Sadly things won't change.
