The walls between the compartments have tumbled down and he's all bad to me now. Not even good memories of the old stuff.
He sucks and everything he ever touched sucks.

I deleted all of his albums from my music library.
He sucks and everything he ever touched sucks.

Never a Gary Glitter fan but I also deleted all my Rolf Harris stuff and "He sucks and everything he ever touched sucks."

In these days...he is a pariah in that one particular community...a community which happens to be led by Sharptons and Jacksons.
I don't think it would be that hard for a bunch of (and by 'bunch of' I am admitting to the sheer number of young women (most now older)who wanted to succeed, and who have now brought a voice) of wannabes/hasbeens to now point a finger at a man who was admired for years. For THAT cause. I'm not blaming the victims here, I am just not sure there were victims.
I could be wrong. On one hand I hope I'm way wrong...for how could any people destroy one to make a point? On the other hand, I'm fearful some of this could have happened. But honestly? It seems really really implausible.
So until proven guilty....Hey hey hey and I brought you into this world and I can take you out and the myriad of other things the artist Bill Cosby brought to us.

As much as I love a good tin-foil hat conspiracy theory, I think Occam's Razor would find it a bit of a stretch to support your argument. To me it rings more like the bible thumping republican homophobes who rant and rail against the very things they do in private and (perhaps) feel ashamed of.
These women are not trying to revive sagging careers and are coming out knowing they are going up against a hugely popular icon at great risk to their personal reputations. Again, think of how many other equally critical comedians, aren't being accused rape. George Carlin, for one was a hundred times more critical of everything than Cosby ever was on his most vitriolic day. The Catholic church could have sent their mafia to visit him and found a bunch of altar boys who were willing to testify that Carlin fiddled with them in - oh wait. Never mind.
