I know nothing about this, I have to admit. And have too little interest to research it.
But I worked with married men, and have worked with men who wielded a reasonable of power in their given field (nothing like as much as Bill Cosby of course).

If these women were willing partners, knowing they were with a married and committed man then that's their choice. Good, bad, indifferent - depending on your morality it was their choice.
But the inference here - and again I'm only going on what I read here - is that they were coerced by power and authority. And for a man to suck in his cheeks and shake his head about other men's behaviour whilst effectively acting like a pimp with a crack whore (ie ownership of someone of someone perceived as a lower social strata) is nastily misogynistic behaviour.

Apologies if I have this all wrong.
It just sounds too much like recent sex scandals here where men of (even less) genuine power abused those they knew they could. And I found/ still find that revolting.
