In Albany there is a foam products wholesaler that carries a hijillion different types of foam, memory foam among them in all dimensions. The price is about half of what a tempurpedic mattress is. I'd bet there must be a similar type store in your area.
You wouldn't get the plushy zippered cover with the tempurpedic logo though.
