The upside down flying helicopter is special built and to do those tricks in the US needs special certification of (and at least 12 Red Bulls in) the pilot, and dispensation from for the show, the FAA.

At 2.05 the helicopter set off a smoke bomb and the rotor downwash pushes the smoke down.
