Must have been written by an elitist snob for some obscure OS then. Or an OS from a mainframe or workstation that hasn't made it down to desktop units yet.

My biggest complaint about Linux so far is the difficulty in installing software. I miss having a wizard to it for me at the click of a button. Why, oh why can't programmers write a simple installer program for their software?

My only other complaint is the different versions of Linux...I use a version (Mandrake 9.0) that isn't usually listed in the catalog, so I have to pray the Red Hat 8.0 works...usually it does, but not always! Standardize, people!

One Linux to rule them all, one Linux to find them, one Linux to bring them all and in the Darkness bind them.
