I remember reading about this when the list was developed. It was being touted as a way to make perfect strangers fall in love. They had tested a number of anonymous people with the questions and more than one couple had ended up first dating, and then getting married after being randomly paired with each other.
Except then like a year or two later there was another article saying actually, most of those folks were now getting divorced because it turns out there's more to making a marriage work than psychological intimacy. But I think it does prove the point that the only barrier to caring about someone is really knowing them, and we could bring about world peace etc. etc.
