Apparently it is still in theaters. When Clooney first viewed it without special effects, his reaction was, "We have a problem." Unlike so many other 3D movies, the 3D effects here are needed to appreciate the plot. Recommended is to see this one while it remains in theaters. Since a 2D version on TV cannot create necessary effects.

Meh. I saw it. It was like Cast Away in space. Only 2 characters have their faces on screen.

I thought it was a really good movie. I feel no need to spend $30+ to see it in 3d.

$13. $15 in prime time. Once I saw it in 3D, then I understood why Clooney feared a loser when previewed without 3D.

$30? Was that in Imax?

I saw it and liked it too. Not in 3D. 3D is ok, but I often find it distracting from the story

That is the point. In Avatar, 3D made interesting visuals but was relevant to the plot. Clooney was correct. In Gravity, relevant 'depth' to the story line is missing without 3D. He said, "We have a problem" because he previewed it not in 3D.

50 miles is $5.70 in a partiotic American car. Fix the problem. Replace an obsolete (anti-American) technology product with something that puts Americans back to work. Especially if your nearest movie theater and grocery stores are that distant. One cannot be more anti-American by driving a 12 MPG passenger car.

If driving something that expensive, then tickets at $25 or $40 should be pocket change.
