February 29, 2012 Happy Leap Year Anniversay Step-Mom & Dad!

My Dad and Step-Mom were married on February 29th.

Dad only counted the leap years as anniversary years. I guess he wanted to remain a newlywed.

When my dad was prepping their new (old) little cottage, he did some fancy footwork on the walls of the bedroom.

He made footprints, man size and woman size, going up the walls and onto the ceiling where the footprints sort of came together and, well, you get the picture . . .

I was a young teen and when he showed me I turned bright red. I didn't think old people like them did that sort of thing!

Wednesday is "hump day" - half way through the week.

Weds 29th of February is a leaping hump day.

The nun fainted anyway. It's her habit.
