this thread's been done a time or two, but it's a fun one.....

i kind of liked the premise of that movie....Jumper. teleporting would be damned handy. i'd save on gas, and get more sleep~!

i could visit all the dwellars around the globe, too.

I'd go for the teleportation over flying. I wouldn't have to worry about being shot down by some idiot, among other things, yet still get to where I want to go.

Telepathy, being able to decide to listen to people's innermost thoughts. (of course I'd want to be able to shut my power off from time to time so I can sleep and whatnot)

I still say mine is being able to control time. Take it back, make it stop, be in two places at one time, skip ahead, etc. That's the kind of power I want.

Still teleporting.
Now for really simple things like not having to pay travel fares. I could spend the next week in the British Museum for example, without having to pay £20 a time for the journey to London.

Invisibilty is tempting, but I would only use it for nefarious purposes, like spying and theft. Not good for me or for society.

I wouldn't want to be invisible, or be able to read thoughts and the like, because then I would find myself catching people talking about me and would get depressed and probably eventually move to a remote cabin in Wyoming or something equally dreary.

I still pick flying over teleporting because to me it's not about where you end up, it's about how you get there.

I like the idea of teleporting. Thats true freedom. I love to travel but hardly get too because of finances. Just think, I could jump to Rome for a day of exploring, go back home to shower and change and then jump to Paris for the night life.
