What is the Proper Word for ...
The other night at work we were preparing to order food. I asked my cow orkers what they wanted ... Chink, Dago, or ... and found myself halted.
What is the proper pejorative for persons of Greek Ethnicity? Oily, Ouzo Drinkiing, Ass Rapers is too long to say. I need the one word pejorative. Can someone help me out here?

I only know cockney rhyming slang, where anyone of Meditteranean cast was known as Bubble. From Bubble & Squeak* - Greek
More recently the name Stavros was used for Greeks, Cypriots, Turks. But again it's from a Harry Enfield character and therefore has no real currency overseas. *a fried potato & cabbage dish to use up leftovers after Sunday lunch |

Unfortunately the Hadji's haven't figured out delivery. We can't leave the office, so we're at the mercy of whomever will bring food too us for a gratuity.
I've been meaning to try that place out, incidentally, but have to remember to leave early enough to stop buy and pick up food. Who knew there was a racial slur database. Thank you internet for being the source of all important knowledge! (and yes, I recognize that "just calling them Greek" works too ...)

I find the fact that wolf has to ask and the lack of answers in the database very telling. All the Greeks I've ever met (and there have been many -I used to work in a chippy) have been smart, generous, hospitable and community-oriented. Maybe nobody other than the Turks hates them enough to put in the effort of coming up with a derogatory name. So I suggest (a) ask a Turk (b) come up with something ourselves.
Stavros and Zorba work for me. Or how about.... Greaseballs, Moussaka Munchers, goat fuckers or, or, or...... Frat Brats? It's all greek to me....
