As I burn my own MP3 discs, it's pretty varied.
You can get about 110 - 120 songs at 192kb on a 700kb disc.
Use CD-RWs - you won't go thru the discs so fast.
--------
The Misfits - Beware and More
MotorHead - Best Of - 2 disc - select tracts
The Plasmatics - Maggots
Type O Negative - The Least Worst Of
Rob Zombie - Past, Present, and Future
---------

I recently bought all 5 of Weezer's studio albums...I don't know why I didn't own them already. I've always been a Weezer fan, but just never bought their stuff. I'm the same way with Counting Crows.

And if you haven't heard it yet, you really should check out the new Depeche Mode CD, Playing the Angel. Damn...it's good. And I'm not just saying that because I'm a huge DM fan...I think a lot of casual listeners and fans of electronic/pop music will enjoy it.

Dream Theater - Octavarium (just released)
Trans-Siberian Orchestra - Beethoven's Last Night

TSO's been making waves with their Christmas-like songs, not to mention that insane house with the choreographed light show, but lemme tell you, BLN is not Christmassy at all.

I know this will sound a little like a shameless plug, but anyway...

I'm sure many of you have iTunes on your computer, to manage your music collections. Are you aware that the Apple Music Store has a Free Song section? There are usually one or two tracks waay down in the lower left corner (as I see it) of the Music Store main screen. Click on the song, add the song to your shopping cart, "buy" (for $0.00, seriously, that's what my reciept says) the song, and then listen.

Right now I'm listening to Cash Machine by Hard-Fi. It's really good and the price certainly was right. Check it out.

By the way, the "free" songs are a very limited time opportunity. Once I put a couple in my cart, and didn't download them. I came back the next day, checked my cart, and they were still there. But they were $0.99 now, same as all the other tunes. The "free" song was something else! Be forewarned.
