I tried Death Cab for Cutie. I had a lot of trouble getting past the whole lightweight music and the "like brothers on a hotel bed" metaphor.

Saw a gig of golden earring in a small belgian town a few years ago...

Right now Max Raabe und das Palast Orchester playing Mein Gorilla and Kein Schwein ruft mich an. German singer singing songs of the '20 and '30. Very nice
