Nice car! It's got everything but the kitchen sink.
See, the lawnmower in back has the kitchen sink. |

Sweet! Getting a new (or at least new-to-you) car is the best feeling. Forgive me, but what kind of Toyota exactly is it? Interior pics? Have you broken it in with the new beau yet?
My first and second cars were light silver. The best color for sex appeal plus dirt/chip camoflage IMHO.

Dammit glatt...I knew someone would notice that sink.
Thanks for the compliment on my hair case. I just had it done back to my "natural color" (dark brownish) so it can grow out. Only my real natural color has alot of red in it, so I had them put red hilights in it as well...so you can see it changes color depending on the light.

Actually it is a brand spanking new 08 Toyota Yaris (sedan 4 door version) with power windows and locks. I did take a million-ty seven photos but I didn't think there'd be that much interest from you guys....but there is! So now I'm going to make you all look at my shiny new car. Yay!
Some photos of the dash and center console: It has a CD Player! My old car had a tape player...which didn't work...and cracked speakers, so this is a terribly exciting upgrade for me.

How exciting!!
Although I gotta say WTF about the instrument cluster being in the center of the dash!! I couldn't handle that. Like a backseat driver needs even more to say about how I'm driving. PS, love your hair!!

I imagine the cluster in the center keeps the price down a little since the steering wheel can go either to the left or right depending on the market.
It's a nice car. I bet it gets good mileage too. |

It was weird having to get used to the stuff being in the middle...but it makes it surprisingly easier to check your speed while driving, you don't have to look down as far and the wheel is never in the way. The gas mileage is supposed to be something like 29 in the city and 35 highway, I think.

Is there a learning curve with that center console it looks kind of awkward.

Be honest. Not one of you yanks pays a blind bit of notice to the speedometer -why the hell should it matter where it is? Makes far more sense to move it to the side so there's more room for the three course meal, make-up bag and Nintendo DS right in front of you.
