In my dream, Merc was an outrageous sexist - not in a jokey way, he really believed that women were mothers of children and housekeepers and anything a woman did other than that made her a dyke.

I was trying to row a boat across the floor, but I couldn't work out which way I was supposed to be facing. It was really hard and I gave up almost immediately and everyone was really disappointed in me because they secretly felt I'd proved Merc's point.
Ok now that is funny as hell, even if it isn't true. BTW, I am hardly a sexist.

Didn't mean to suggest you were Merc.
It's just in the dream, you were and everyone knew it.

My dreams assign random roles to people all the time. In fact the less face to face contact I have with the person, the more likely they are to guest star. Simon Pegg has been really horrible to me in my dreams.

I've had about 3 dreams (including last night) where I'm being chased/terrorized by zombies in the last month. Can't think of any reason for it...
Also I dreamed my ex b/f told my family I'm bisexual. It pissed me off so bad I wanted to hit him when I saw him that morn (roomies and exes woo!)
I also had a dream the night before that was proof I'm bi.

Last night I had a dream that I was bicycling down a long, tree-lined road, when all of a sudden I could see LabRat ahead in the distance. I pedaled faster and saw that she had her two (?) kids with her. (I have no clue where the second kid came from.) I said hello, and we made small talk for a few minutes. The kids told me they had to go home and give their dog a bath, and said their dog thought baths were "delightful!" By some odd dream logic, I knew the dog was Pilau, so I told them I hoped the bath was delightful, for his sake. Then LabRat invited me to dinner before making a sharp left turn and leaving me alone on the tree-lined road.

I woke early, thanks to the fact that Diz demands to be let up on the windowsill as soon as he wakes up, so I've found it easier now to leave the curtains open a little. I can doze when the light comes in, I can't doze through a cat dynamo trying to take off my eye mask and take out my ear plugs (he really does - the eye mask is a wake up thing, the ear plugs are a bizarre fascination for him).

Anyway, this means I get to doze for the best part of three hours, and often have lucid dreams. It was the Cellar's turn this morning.

It started off that I'd been away for a while, but was coming back to my family's land. We had a holiday home that had been destroyed (by floods?) so were rebuilding it as a treehouse. While I'd been away, a friend had borrowed my boat. trouble is, we'd fallen out and they'd gone to the newspapers because it was a council boat and they were claiming I had gone on long trips at the public's expense. I'd just got the official investigation back, and it was obvious that while I was away (hospital I think) they had loaned it out to all their friends. I was in the clear, but still angry.

Anyway, we were pottering about on our part of the river (as it was now). Dylan was back, looking gorgeous, and I remembered that in fact both cats loved to swim. They were swimming about with my dog, a lovely black collie. My brother was a toddler again and I was carrying him round. My sister and I were playing a really simple word game, and cheating, and arguing about it.

We stopped for a picnic on what at first was quite derelict decking, but which became a lovely well-equipped place by the river as the dream went on. There I saw the three people involved in the boat scam, but they were actually teenagers. This didn't surprise me, and I took full advantage of my adult wits and strength and confiscated all their drink because they were underage. I gave the girl a "beer shampoo", upending bottles of Becks over her head while singing "Wash That Man Right Outta My Hair" to teach her to keep her nosde clean (?). Terrible bullying behaviour.

Anyway at this point it turned into a welcome home party. I had been in hospital after all, and it hadn't been certain I'd pull through. Zippy was the first to arrive - as is to be expected when I'd borrowed from his posts for the setting. From then on there was a rush. Wolf was definitely there - I introduced her to my Mum as I knew they'd get on immediately. Onxy Cougar was too, all done up in purple feathers. Shawnee was there and my mouth dropped open - I couldn't believe I was finally meeting her. She had light brown permed hair and a really 80s brown suede jacket - nothing like the real Shawnee, but I was so happy in the dream. Brianna (who I wasn't as amazed to see for some reason?!) had long red hair in plaits. She was in a cropped t-shirt and short denim shorts with braces (suspenders) and looked like a pin-up. Classicman was there, with a whole raft (not literally) of children in tow. Cloud and Cicero were there together, laughing at the fact they had the same colour hair - like they'd never met before.

I saw Jinx and Jim arrive, but they were snuck off. I was again so excited to see them, but pretended I hadn't because I knew they were preparing a surprise for me. Jinx was tiny - like Posh Spice - and Jim was HUGE, about 6 foot 6 and the same across, he looked like her bodyguard, except that he moved really lightly, not like a really muscle bound guy.

There was only one Aussie there I'm afraid. I think it was ZenGum, but he was wearing a veil. We kissed through the veil and he promised to take it off later and kiss me properly!

I was so happy - my parents had invited everyone (sorry Bruce, guess I woke up before you got there!) And I had both my cats and my baby brother, and a gorgeous holiday home. Sigh.

That is great!

Don't you wish we could videotape our dreams? I amazed at some of the things I dream about, and sometimes sad that either I woke up and it wasn't real or that I can't remember enough of it.

That's what you meant, surely?
Maybe you just finished Sundae's dream, after her parents went to bed.

In the early hours this morning I dreamed I'd moved to Kenya. I hadn't packed anything suitable and was swimming in my underwear. My underwear was actually far nicer than my swimsuit irl, but then I was really quite slim in the dream.

I'd been posting details about my trip on a blog, but then my BFF's husband came up and started talking to me about this and I realised I'd just beem posting on someone's forum. He said he knew my real name from Classicman, who he was in touch with, If he'd worked it out so easily, then other people would too. I was far too naiive.

See one of the best movies ever made "Until the end of the world" by Wim Wenders.

I've been sleeping really badly since I stopped drinking. I mean only about an hour at a time, and then not until gone 02.00, although I'm up at about 09.00-09.30. This has been exacerbated by the fact I've had bad catarrh and sinus problems (I have no voice when I wake up at present).

Anyway, all this has led to shallow sleep and memorable dreams again.

Last night I dreamed that LJ, Jinx and Bri had come to visit me in Aylesbury.
For some reason they had only come for a couple of hours, then were driving back to Manchester to get a plane home. So I was trying to show them as much of Aylesbury as I could, then put them on the right road back.

Oddly, Aylesbury was much bigger, making it more time consuming to view. We had an Abbey, a Cathedral and a choral school. The Abbey grounds were famous, extensive and well worth spending a lot of time in, but I just had to show them the entrance. Also, I noticed the entrance fee was £50, so I was secretly relived we didn't have time to go in.

Jinx was driving, and as we drove round, LJ breathed on the back passenger window and wrote "Jinx's Taxi Service" back to front, so people outside could see it. He left it there as well, which I knew meant that in future, every time the window misted up it would appear.

I was annoyed with him because Jinx really wasn't very well. I was trying to keep everything as brief as possible because I knew she had a long drive ahead of her even after we had finished sightseeing. I do remember at one point though, showing everyone round an old close of houses, which oddly had all their garden furniture and kids' toys in front of the houses - not in a messy way, but as if they were the private back gardens. Jinx and Bri were jumping on people's trampolines and I was worried that someone would come out and have a go - it was a very swish neighbourhood - old money.

We went back to my flat, which I was really looking forward to showing people from the Cellar. It was only really when I left the three Dwellars in my bedroom that I realised it wasn't all that great. The paint was peeling, the carpets were stained and the whole place smelled of damp. As well as everything being in the wrong place and stuff just left untidily about (there was a clothes drier in the hall which had obviously been there ages, stiff clothes hung all over it).

I went to gte them something to eat and drink before they set off, but there was only one can of Diet Coke left. There was vodka in the fridge though, so I swigged it while I poured out the Diet Coke for them. Then made myself a cup of tea and glugged most of the leftover vodka into that. I took the Coke upstairs and handed it round, embarrassed to see by then that the individual glasses were really no bigger than shot glasses. And a two finger KitKat between them. Hmmmm, not a great success.

After that time gets a bit confused. I had to ask them to be quiet because my Mum was in the other room with my borther (a baby, as evidenced by the smell of poopy nappies) and I wasn't supposed to have guests. Then it was morning and I'd fallen asleep in the spare room and Mum was telling me off for not bothering to make up the beds for my guests and because she'd been looking after Jinx who had been sick all night.

That was the end of that dream.
There was another involving a letter to my Mum from someone called Elizabeth Lloyd who was a debt collector. She seemed to have full access to both my bank account and to Bruce's log-in here and on a porn site (and was able to tell when he was online and contacting me). She apologised for upsetting my Mum, but wanted her to know the truth, that Bruce hadn't paid me enough money AND he was contacting other women and that I was being dishonest and sinful. Not sure where it was all connected, but after that I climbed a mountain with the letter in my hand and the dream changed.

I was pleased to wake up from the final dream and see it was time to get up - it was a horrible one, but featured no Dwellars.

I seemed to have hurt my nose (large scratch) and bruised my own eye in my sleep last night. God I wish I had time to see a therapist.

This has happened before, and the recent upsets have brought with it the old problems. Tripped trigger. When am I going to find the time. A regular schedule is out of the question...so this is all fuc**ed. The nightmares are back and they are taking it out on my face.

I had a dream last night that I was playing soccer. While I normally play right defense or central midfield I was forced to play left forward. Being out of position I kept making silly errors. No big deal except I kept growing more flustered as Lumberjim heckled me mercilessly and a whole gathering of dwellars egged him on.

I woke after leaving the field in shame.
