Are those your cues? Why don't you take your mukluks away from the cellophane before they scorch?

I'm back. I think she got off OK -airport was empty! Except for the birds. And Thor's team played such a great game of hockey afterwards the opposing coach asked if it really was the same team they played earlier in the year.

So after Banana lady's departure, you're having trouble getting back into the normal chaos, huh?

right. We were given the wrong time for the game so went straight from the airport and ended up having to hang around for an hour. I'm not used to empty minutes ......it drove me crazy thinking of the zillion things I could've done

Yea, but you didn't have to hang out with her at the airport before she left.

We hung around waving and shouting "bye Grandma" until she disappeared into the distance on the other side of security. Like we always do. Thor's getting pretty damn heavy to pick up these days though. He liked it just being him -Hebe and Hector are starting to get embarrassed by that but Thor still loves to do it and was able to do so without their barracking. then we watched the planes for a bit and the squillions of blackbirds that were wheeling around. I wonder if they're waiting for the AK-style end of days? What do the blackbirds know that we don't?
