I'm all about spreading the Thackray love.

I have gone through all of his songs as favorites. Being a former Catlick I started w/ Sister Josephine. Something I think you really need to be Catholic to fully appreciate.

Man, the different musical tastes displayed here always blows my mind.

And makes me feel a little alone in my own musical tastes.

Hysterical!

I am proselytizing SonofV now for/toward/in (gah! this word is hard to use in this context, I don't know how to use it properly. maybe I've just started awkwardly and have finally reached the end of my grammatical possibilities (or more likely, the end of my knowledge; that road is shorter)) love of Thackray.

He recently showed me a program on Netflix, a routine by comic Whitney Cummings: Money Shot. It is definitely funny, and there's a bit in there where she talks about guys just needing to find a hole, any hole.

*DING*

The Hole.

We've just started, and I am really, really looking forward to the journey!

I had hoped you'd see it, figured you'd like it.

I have memories of riding down to dayton to see bands with another couple, probably stoned, and gene playing that song and others. Years ago. I was glad to find that on the entrewebs.
