Well duh, so do most of the tools in industrial facilities, garages, car dealers, even roofers and framers, etc, etc. They all run on compressed air.

Compressed air is far superior in some situations. For example, wet sanding with an electric sander is a bad idea. With compressed air, Bob's your uncle.

So what do you get for the dad who has everything? I'd like to get him a reciprocating saw, because I like the idea of a gift that gives back, you know? But I'm sure he has one whatever it is.
There's been something on TV...some kind of handheld drill thingy where you can buy all kinds of attachments. But I don't know what he needs. maybe I'll get him another sweatshirt. |

That's a very good question. I wish I knew.
I'm thinking that maybe some nice socks would be good. I was thinking maybe the car chip pro would be good, he's a smart mechanically inclined computer geek, but he seems to be uninterested in working on his cars these days. I think he did it in the past only to save money and now he's more comfortable financially to be doing such dirty unpleasant work. He'd rather tinker with computers. So, socks are a safe boring gift. There are some nice socks out there. Maybe a few pair of Ultimax? |

My dad shuns computers. He was irate when my brother was teasing him by texting him. He wants nothing to do with it. A cell PHONE, sure. But that's it.
He loves golf, though. Maybe a golf gift. (He's had two holes in one, and one almost...seriously.) |

No sane person does repairs/maintenance on cars if they can afford not to. Restore, hot rod, customize, tinker, sure that's fun... but repairs get old real fast.

Hmmm... Never can have too many nitrile gloves. They're invaluable for the finger print thing.
