My ring
Back a few years ago, I had eye surgery at UMMC. And at pre-op A nurse told me I couldn't wear my ring. I had forgot to pull it off. So, she placed it in my bag.
I had had that ring for about 38 years and was pissed when I got home and could not find it. So, today I had my car detailed and the guy found it. How in hell did it get from my bag to car? Damnifino. Maybe I stopped somewhere where the lights where bright and blinking and was in my bag?

The lord works in mysterious ways, buster.
Finding it must have made your day. Hey wait! Car detailed? Fancy shmancy. You going to the prom? Getting married?

@ Bruce. It's first time in about 2 years. I'm too lazy to do it. @ Fargon. The ring is a Linde star, w/patioum what ever mount. One of my late wives raised hell about it. Said "cost more than our set of wedding bands." I got another from e-bay and is a sorry repo.
Photo later, If I can work out the light.

I'm so glad this wasn't a Lumberjim thread -I'll admit to being a little apprehensive when I clicked..... glad you got your ring back

More to this story. About ten years back I was driving a metal post in ground for a dog feeder and lost the set out of ring. I didn't know this at time and backside of stone is dull. So I never really looked for it. Months later I went to feed dog and saw the stone. A guy I know reset it for me. True stuff.
