5/7/2004: Unstriped zebra
 Kenyan authorities are set to carry out further studies on this little one but it sure looks like a genetics problem. That there is your basic unstriped zebra calf. The folks there say they have no records of it ever happening before.

I'm not sure I have this right, but don't zebras have white stripes? I seem to remember reading somewhere that zebras are born black, and develop the stripes later. If that's true, then this little white fella is truly unique....and he's so cuuuuute!
I see the stripes in the second picture as well...but check out his little muzzle...he looks like he's grinning, to me....wonder what he's thinking? Sidhe
