I heard this for the first time last week. Since then, every single day it plays in my head. Such a lovely perfect little song. They say it was used on "Scrubs" but I don't know from that.

Everybody's got a hold on hope, it's the last thing that's holding me.

The other afternoon, I was on mini-Phono Safari(

), and the radio in GC1 decided to actually work for a change. The semi-local classic rock station was coming in pretty well, and they were just playing the soundtrack to my life.

It went like this:

Grand Funk - Walk Like A Man
Badfinger - Baby Blue
Rush - Working Man
Rush - Temples of Syrinx

And then they played Steppenwolf. No, not that song.

Never met the man before. I know one of the guys he was sitting with, though, and he'd sent him over to mess with me.

A little while later, a bathroom visit later

, I walked by their table and said "The Eagles, Already Gone". Four people said, in unison, "That's it."
