Good idea footfootfoot. We too could do assumptions from user names.

I would then think limey is british salor,

Brianna is a princess,

footfootfoot has three legs,

xoxoxoxBruce is a lover.

undertoad is a garden gnome

jinx is a black cat

capnhowdy, well ....capnhowdy

cyclefrance likes to ride bikes.

I actually think like that. or rather not beyond the simple in assumptions.

No. I do not require you to read my posts. Any burden you may have is self inflicted.

But, seriously, I need positive feedback in the workplace. If people don't appreciate my work, I feel bad about myself. I tie my self worth to my career too much, and in jobs I have had some low lows and high highs, never a dull moment.

Oh. Skysidhe's first job upon leaving the army was as a door-gunner at a daycare center.

That's too bad, you know if you've done a good job or not, but if you don't hold a grudge against cow-orkers that don't gush as much as you desire, at least you're only hurting yourself.
Still, it's a shame to put yourself through that.

wow, how close is that? footfoot-good job!

In high school Skysidhe wanted to be an airforce pilot. She was failing aerodynamics so made a Huey model all painted in army camoflage to up her grade to a D. ( normally a high B student )
Her first job out of school was to become a day care teacher. She greeted kids at the door everyday.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

fff was actually fired from NASA when he calculated a probes chute deployment in meters.

[edited it ]Just so ya know. Upon reading it again. I didn't know if it was clear.
I was Just an observation about assumptions and I wasn't talking about anyone person. I was being metaphorical and muse

I know what you are saying. But, you must realize that this is not Black and White but in full technicolor.

For me, all I need are the basic, normal human considerations, which doesn't happen at an arrogant company.

As for co-workers, actually, in 1999 I managed a group of 5 software engineers. One guy was way too needy. Even though I met with each of them every day, this guy left the building with me each day and spoke in the parking lot with me for a half hour before I could go home. After a while, some people in the company noticed and we talked about how this guy was draining my energy.

There is a big difference between Needy and Normal. EVERYONE deserves a certain amount of feedback in the workplace.

Urbane Guerillas fecal matter does not offend the olfactory senses.

Flint was born with a plastic spork in his mouth.
