Do you peel in the shower?

http://cellar.org/showthread.php?t=16859

We usually go someplace hot in the winter, when I'm at my whitest, and I almost always get a sunburn. After a few days, when ever I take a shower, my skin starts peeling - first just a few little specs, then getting larger and larger, eventually like pieces of leather that you could make a football out of, then big chunks that have me considering installing a bar-b-que grill in the bathroom.

Does this happen to you?

I peeled at Christmas time, but I find it more satisfying to peel dry skin rather than wet.

Do you like to peel other people? (I should have included this in the poll.)

i once peeled the entire top surface of my right thigh. it came off in one huge sheet. I rolled it up in a ball, and handed it to my sister when she came into the room. She was all like, "weird, what is this?" and squeezing it and rolling it around in her hand.

"skin," I say.

I don't remember what happened next.

My ex sister-in -law once peeled a big piece of skin off her leg and used it as a book mark.

I peel at the edges of my fingernails...all the time. It is a nervous habit...once in a while I get a decent sized piece of skin.

My immediate reaction is BLEURGH!
But I recognise my own behaviour...

I'm a peeler, a picker, a plucker and a squeezer too.

no, I usually peel before a shower. Otherwise--wet, soppy clothes--no good.

Stay out of the sun, people! Bad for you!

That's just a little piece of misinformation being spread by the devil.

Yes, please. And thrash through your bush as well, if there's time.

Actually, because of the effective sunblock creams and lotions, people are becoming deficient in vitamin D.
