Where did it get insulting? I kinda thought that Grav telling me I was going to hell was somewhat insulting. But that is just his belief, so I wasn't didn't take it personally. But somehow expressing my belief is not only insulting, but militant?

Really now.

I'm perplexed by the whole thing, myself. I didn't think you said anything over the line.

I didn't read anything Pico said as insulting. Grav (hellfire) and HM (immature brains) appeared deliberately insulting to each others worldview but pretty low level compared to Old Time Cellar. I thought the thread was going to actually provide more light than fire.

Bugs me how he says "ups" instead of "oops" though.

I think that's just his accent :P

But also may reflect the possible origin of oops as a shortened form of whoops. I know that the 'ups' pronunciation is common in some parts of the country.

Again, I used "immature brains" in exactly the same way as the two other people who used the phrase before me.

I think he (grav) is lying, he's really going to Jamaica for a winter vacation and doesn't want to take us along. Cheap bastard.

Pico, the handbasket is getting pretty full, if you are sure you are not going to hell then we'd like to give your seat to someone else. If it turns out you actually are going to hell and we've given your seat to someone else, then you'll have to wait for the next handbasket. (and all the cool people won't be on that one, just so you know)

Maybe there's a bit more to this than people realise. Perhaps there's stuff going on in grabs life that we don't know about. Maybe he just needs to sort himself out. I hope he's not gone too long though.
