Avoid the bath, all those buckets of water and so on with a bad back is a big Nono. Flannel/cat lick wash is all that's needed for the smelly bits!

ha! True but - I kind of need the oilatum emolient and that doesn't work unless you soak for ten mins.
I've managed to wash and blow my hair, so that's done at least. God what a palava that was lol.

Are you certain it's spine pain, and not kidney pain? A bad kidney infection hurts your back something fierce, and can also cause the vomiting and bathroom distress. Last time I had one I just thought I'd pulled a back muscle, and didn't realize it was something else until I spiked a 104 fever.

Hmmm - never even thought of that. I do intermittently get lower back probs though, and sometimes the pain makes me feel queasy because it feels like the vertebrae are pulling apart. Anything boney or jointy and I go faint very easily at the thought of it.
The throwing up was probably a combination of the queasiness of the back pain, the shock of the fall, painkillers on an empty stomach, and stress at the thought of doing the viva the next day. I'll bear it in mind though - I've got a few days clear now so am going to rest up and see how I am - if i'm still in pain after the weekend I'll go see my doc. Right now my biggest problem is the pain in my ribs - christ on a bike, that ain't fun. Am hoping it's muscle pain and that I haven't cracked a rib or popped one out of place slightly. Again - am going to take it uber easy and see how I am on Monday. A long weekend cures many ills.

Because he doesn't know about it :P
Because the house is a shit tip and needs me to spend a few days making it presentable before I make the call. I needed to get the Viva out of the way before I can dedicate several days to the house.

What is pissing you off this time?
JFC, just answer the goddamn question. I don't need an inventory of what we have, what the restaurant has, or what none of us wants.
I need a fucking "Yes, I would like you to bring me something.", or I need a "No, I don't want anything.", I'll even take a "Go fuck yourself.". At least that's a fucking answer. How hard is it to know whether you want a hamburger? It ain't rocket science.

I'm confused. Are you working in a restaurant and they wouldn't give you their order, or are you ordering in a restaurant and they wouldn't...um, I don't know?

It sounds like he was considering going out to get something to eat and asked someone else if they wanted him to bring back something for them like a hamburger; but, the other person complicated the matter.
Either that; or, it was all a dream and he's sleep posting again. |
