I saw
Nashville over the weekend. This was in the AFI 100 top movies, so I figured it would be worth watching. It wasn't really very good. A typical Robert Altman movie with lots of different story lines going on all at once, and no real plot to speak of. But it gave you a feeling of Nashville in the '70s. I'm not so sure that's a good thing. I wouldn't recommend it.
Then last night I saw
Blue, the first of the three "color" films. Juliet Binoche. It wasn't bad. A typical foreign subtitle artsy film. I enjoyed it. Kinda slow, but it was supposed to be. It worked.
