International Phone Calls
I bought a £10 phone card the other day.
I bought it when I was the person in the house with LITTLE money, and HM was still supporting me to a certain extent ie paying all the bills (except housing benefit paid my half of the mortgage and council tax - a bit like property tax in the US I think). But now I am the one working and therefore bringing money in, so I can make HM's life easier by paying a fair share of all bills, and possibly even reducing what I owe him by subbing him if he is short. So the bottom line is, I have a phone card I am pretty much free to use on frivolous calls. Now I already have Bri & Shawnee's numbers, and they were on my list to call since forever. I'm happy to use up my minutes talking to them. BUT there are some special deals available: - Every Sunday in April, 15p for an unlimited call all day (UK time) to Australia - Every Sunday in May, 15p for an unlimited call all day (UK time) to the USA So if anyone wants to shoot the breeze and cost me only 15p, please PM me your telephone number! I won't be calling every night, it's a deal-only deal if you get what I mean. And if Bri and I are anything to go by, most of the conversation will comprise of, "OMG I can't believe I'm actualy hearing your voice!" GREAT fun though. PS - if you don't take me up on this I won't be offended. I'm not really a phone person myself. Dana can attest that I have her number and only call about every 4 months, despite being in the same country, I'm far more likely to PM. |
