Once again, people are (soylent) green.
I wonder on what basis this revision is made. Certainly it is relative to "human years" but I wonder if the change in people's (human people, people) life expectancy has been a factor in this new scale.

Ha! Great timing on this image. We are arranging for a petsitter for our 1 week trip in Sept, and on the way back from lunch today we were trying to calculate how long that would seem to to the dog.

Same applies to cats. Or at least the same principle of treating the early years differently.
I found this out when I was researching before getting my boys. I'm comforted by it now, as it means Hely is a teenager while Diz is in his late20s - he will be able to charm her! Once she stops hissing I mean.

That means that my dog lived to be almost 100 years old, wich is a very old age by any standards.
