What's on your shopping list?

My next list contains the following items (so far)

Butter, cream, milk, castor sugar, condensed milk, peanut butter, toilet paper, puff pastry, choc chips, M&M minis, oats, cheese, strawberries (thanks shawnee and brianna), potatoes, mince, sausages, toilet cleaner, tampons (tmi?).

What's on yours?

Milk
Loo roll
Cigarettes
Coffee
Tea (decaff, I already have ordinary)
Gravy bones (for Pilau)
Butcher's Tripe (for Pilau)
A new toy (for Pilau)
Some more Complan (for me)

That's about it really...

oh sorry no:

I suppose anyway. I don't really do lists. I just bob along to the shops and buy stuff. But those are what I intend to get next time I go.

Currently, it's:

Red Star nutritional yeast
canned navy beans
small ziplocks
frozen cherries
minced garlic
mop heads

But I won't be going until next Monday at the very earliest, so it's bound to get a lot longer by then.

bread (decent sort that costs 5$ loaf)
Strawberries (might as well now)
milk
yogurt
doggie treats for Autumn
tp (always with the tp....)

...better watch myself. Am spending money like a Kennedy (Or Madoff, or what have you) just got a pedi and my mom, shockingly, cashed the 300.00 check I gave her for a prior loan.

Damn it! Parents aren't supposed to do that, are they?

chips and diet coke. I got everything else today. But chips are a different store and coke goes on sale tomorrow.

Also, non-shaded swim goggles. And a monocle.

At this exact moment, it's only bananas. But I just went to the store--give it two days and we'll be back up to an actionable number of items.

In the past I had it drummed into my head you can't refrigerate bananas, but I have discovered that is a lie. I grab a ripe bunch with just a trace of green, and a bunch as green as they have for the fridge. When there's one or two left I take the greenies from the fridge and let them ripen a day or two depending on how green they were.
Works for me.
