My hub wears 32/36 jeans. We haunt Goodwill because this is an odd size. We frequently score brand new or almost new jeans. Anyway today I scored a designer handbag in mint condition , retail $499. [ who pays that for a purse? } The grand total was $2.70. Oh and at Wally World I bought a 20 ft long line lead for Victor so I could continue his herding training. That was $7.50. $4.80 more than the purse. Now when I carry my "new" purse, people can think, wow that dumb ass paid $499 for a purse

Nirv, somewhere here I posted a pic of a handbag in a store window in Japan. IIRC, it was 2,300,000 yen, maybe 20 thousand dollars.
$500 is cheapskate territory. No pretty office lady is going to put out for her salaryman boss for anything less than a $1,000 Louis Vuitton which she can resell for $500.
And yet, I would routinely see three or more LV products in each subway car. Hell I even saw an LV backpack on a dog!

I know about expensive purses I just never had the disposable income to purchase them. I have champagne taste and a beer budget. I would rather pay $300 for a herding seminar to help me train my dog better.
