Good morning/afternoon/whateverthefuckitiswhereyouare, peeps!
So I moved...sorta. Springfield, Missouri...3 hours south of Kansas City, in SW Missouri...the belt buckle of the Bible Belt...home of Missouri State University...30 minutes north of Branson...pretty much Deliveranceland. Anyhoo, the company that I contract for offered me a site manager job down here. I love my job as it is and the pay is really good, plus my job in KC is still there should I decide to go home. The problem of course is that I had to leave Michelle and Kiddo back in KC...I was basically offered the job just 2 weeks ago. Michelle has only had her job for about 5 months and Kiddo started school today. So I said I'd give it a go for a bit...I miss them dearly, but I'm doing this to make a better life for my family in the end. (As an aside, do you know that Elspode and I have only lived about 30 minutes from each other in KC for 2 YEARS and have YET to meet in person?! We suck.) Springfield is actually a nice city...160,000 people plus the college population. Easy to get around, nice people, stupid-low cost of living. Don't know if I would want to move the family down here though...we'll see... So how the fuck are all of you? |

I heard he moved in with a bunch of blokes who want to form an Amy Winehouse Tribute Band and he's on the sauce pretty hard. Too bad. He really seemed like a nice guy...but once you get the tribute band bug...well, that's that.

Whatever became of John and/or Impress of the WTF thread?
Is Zippy off floating down a river on an inflatable bikini-chick or something? Has Merc quietly slipped off to "deal with" Assad?
