Happiness #1: Yesterday, I was looking through sme costumes and got really excited because I found one I liked....for about 100 bucks. Argued with myself, but finally conceded and decided that no, I really can't afford it. No, I don't care how many packets of Ramen noodles I could eat. Look at me being a responsible adult!!
Happiness #2: Talked to mom because I was slightly disappointed, but had resigned myself to finding something passable that I could whip together from the thrift store. (Also because I was wanting to buy a sewing machine - and no I didn't do that either) Mummy took it upon herself to browse through online patterns and will now make me an outfit. I am so excited because it is just what I want. Now, I just have to figure out what materials. Another note - she is doing this without having me there to help shop, for size, etc. Hmm, I feel so loved. |

Making peace with Brianna is making me happy today. I guess every cloud has a silver lining after all.

monster - it is for halloween. I started looking early, because last year I waited too long, hated what I had picked out months ago and had to redo the whole thing. I know it is a little early, but I want a REALLY good one this year.

Happy # 1: my boss who supported me in a sticky situation
Happy # 2: friends Happy # 3: a wedding I will go to next month (my ex-husband's band he was in for years...the drummer's daughter is getting married. It was just yesterday that she was the little girl who idolized me at gigs, and who I just adored to play with. It will be bittersweet though, as the drummer has esopageal cancer and it isn't looking good. I am glad I get to spend some happy time with the family and that the band is re-uniting for the reception.) Happy # 4: new haircut

I just purchased my first piece of orginal art! AND two pairs of earrigs (handmade out of antique cranberry glass, some beads from the old Czech republic and more fun stuff) at an art show that I would NEVER have gone to in th past!!
I love my new life of trying new things!!!!!

I folded all my washing, and I'm picking my kids up for the weekend after school today.
