Thanks for keeping us updated Henry and Tril. She is stronger and smarter and nicer than she gives herself credit for, she'll be up and on top of this soon.

Usually. However, grabbing them by the stacking swivel also works.

Henry, I know she is really smart and probably wont need it, but there is a book by David Burns - Feeling Good, The New Mood Therapy - that helped me A LOT after I surfaced from my stress related breakdown (he also wrote a companion handbook, which actually meant more to me). He is one of the prime developers of Cognitive Therapy. I still use these books from time to time.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I have a long road ahead re: retraining my brain as far as negative thoughts and beating myself up and...a lot of things. I am home as of yesterday and i am working on a few things while trying not to look at the mountain. I have no idea what will happen when i get back to work but i will be prepared for any of the options.
My family and friends (here and on here) have been very supportive and that means so much. Some don't understand it, i know, but that is ok too. I got beautiful flowers from sarge and tril that really brighttened my room. I met some wonderful people and the staff was great. Thanks henry for being a conduit, and for loving me for exactly who i am. I probably won't post much for a while, but you're in my thoughts, my friends. |
