IM was using her phone and the library computer, so her I'net access was limited and maybe became more limited.

it's because of the thumper principle, but it didn't stick.
i'm alive and sort of well. not having a high old time, but i think it's like a relationship that, through very little fault of your own, doesn't work out. it's still painful and i am constantly questioning myself and the situation. and of course there are still hoops: even though i've been working since i was in jr hi, often with one or two part time jobs along with the full-time...i still have to fight for what i rightly earned. i should've just laid (lain?) around with my hand out, lamenting the unfairness of everything. then, too, those who think i fucked that job up would have a basis for such a cruel assumption. thanks for asking after me and i miss so many of you. i will be back when my anger is in check and things don't make me so pissed off and pissy anymore. |

Why didn't you lie around with your hand out?
Same reason no long-time Dwellar did. You did not want that life. I've hated not working. Other Dwellars have hated not working. This really isn't a place for people who just want to milk the system. So come here and be frustrated and angry and sound off. Can't say it will help, just that I miss you. I really thought and hoped that getting away from that toxic work situation would be good for you. I'm sure it will when you look back on it. Hic quoque transiet. Which would be a shitty thing to say if I hadn't been through it myself. But I have. Oh, yeah. Sorry. It didn't really help me either.

Monkey, you have just extricated yourself from an abusive relationship. Of course it's going to take time to heal.
You can come in here and be all grouchy and pissy if you want. Especially if you throw in some of your wit with it. Meantime, hit up temp agencies. Even a months work will make you feel better. Kinda like a post-divorce fling.

Glad you're still hanging in there, IM. We need your wit around here. I hope you feel up to coming back soon.

Very well; but, don't be surprised if she shows you some hide and hair in the NSFW thread.

I know who he means.
But I was tempted to reply, "Are you referring to the popular Dwellar, Petroleum?"
