I waxed between the brows of both my boys tonight. It was fun for me. I think it kinda was for them too in a goofy sort of way. I also think they're both pretty happy with the result.

I love being very un-hairy. Thank you NA heritage!
If I do pluck, it's just around the outer edges underneath. I remember in HS my mom said 'OH, you put on brow pencil." "No, I didn't mom!" "Your eyebrows don't look like that!" "Apparently they do, mom." She wasn't mad, she was impressed that I'd taken the effort. But I hadn't! pffffft. Nope. I imagine a pro could do something really cool, like bring out the natural arch, but I can't be bothered to keep up that kind of maintenance, being an unmade bed of a woman. |

I don't mess with mine, but sometimes the barber does. Holds the comb over them as a depth gauge and runs the clippers across the length. I figure if he thinks I need it, then I'll let him do it. But I don't request it.
Sometimes they do get a bit wild. Like a great horned owl. |

NA? North African? Neo Argentine? Non Agressive? I know, it's Native American
I trim mine with little scissors. If I can comb them, they're too long.

Native American.
I'm not naturally hairy either, or at least I grow fair blonde hairs. I get the little pricklers underneath my eyebrows though. I pick and itch at them if I don't have tweezers nearby. Very bad habit; gave myself an infection in my teens. I have been threaded and it worked well for me. Just not interested enough to pay for it regularly. |

My friend in HS was very fair, but you could cut your hand on her leg hair! (OMG feel my leg hair! No! Yeah, seriously! Ouch!) My leg hair is so baby fine, that you really couldn't see it if it weren't so dark. It's barely fuzzy. And I have about 7 total underarm hairs. *shrug* TMI?

I grow long fine hairs. Like a ginger werewolf.
I am the only person I have met with straight pubic hair. |

They do eyebrow threading at one of the carts out in the open in the nearby shopping mall. How weird would that be, to be sitting in a director's chair out in the open with scores of people streaming right by you as you get plucked?

Quite a few members of staff at Boots have it done at a similar stand. It's visibile from the tills, so their colleagues can watch too, if they want.
I think that's okay. It's not like having a Brazilian... |

beauty tip
Save time by grooming only the eyebrow people really pay attention to.

I don't even know what threading is, but I bet I won't be having it done.

It's where they figure 8 a thread around the hair and pull the ends of thethread, which tightens the figure 8, which uproots the hair.
I pluck. I have a super magnifier mirror and regularly, I get comfy with a TV show on and start looking for stray hairs during the boring parts. I'm not real particular about plucking, although my teenager is jealous of my shaped brows. I just pluck anything not in the proper place. Also, like Clod, they're insanely LONG if left to grow...yikes!

So you have to pluck and cut them?
If you let them grow, could you get them layered? I always thought eyebrows and eyelashes kind of found their own level. Mine never get longer than they're supposed to be, but there is one that does that old person thing of half curling and half sticking straight out, like wire. |

Do you have any hag hairs yet?
I have one that grows under my chin. If I leave it be, it is long and reasonably fine. But I worry at it all the time, so I can feel it coming through as a prickly new hair. I have another on the top of my right arm. I discovered it in my early twenties and was convinced I was turning into a man. Yes, I was as well balanced then as I am now. |
