We're going to spread some paint at the new fencing club. We reached out to the historical fencers in town realizing that together we can afford a much better space. A Russian dance studio went belly up a couple years ago leaving a 40'x65' hardwood floor behind. We're going in!

I saw Russian dancers in Elmira NY...they were in town for something, and they worked them into the local Mark Twain play...and it was freaking awesome. These little kid Russian dancers were amazing. Happy fencing! (Can I call it that? Isn't that like stealing or washing money or something?)

@ Dana:
I forgot to tell you, Dexter has arrived. I'm hoping to have a mini-marathon on my day of sloth.

Oooooh. Oh I am envious
Don't know if I mentioned this anywhere yet, but I am very happy my computer is back and fixed. Didn't need a new hard disc after all (which had been his initial suspicion) and lost no data (i.e 4000 words of dissertation). Apparently it was something to do with the file indexing system *looks up to see information flying right overhead* errr...so yes. Anyway, it was in the shop from Friday lunchtime, to yesterday morning, which left me dependent upon my laptop for the entire easter weekend (made more difficult by the laptop intermittently stopping working). They ran it through hours and hours of diagnostics. I think the hard disc check alone took about 5 hours. They checked evrything, installed up to date AVG and firewall, cleaned it all up and sorted out the registry. Cost me £30. Awesome. |

I have mastered the art of frying my own chicken nuggets. The breading recipe (which is to say, nothing resembling bread) still needs tweaking, but at this point it's edible. Another round or two and I will attempt to serve them to the foblings.

We are dropping the kid off at a babysitter so we can meet a friend to celebrate her 40th birthday today by throwing back a few margaritas.

Margarita is an unusual name. It's quite amazing you know a few of them.
