Leaving for a 4 night camping trip in the mountains of north Georgia today. Am taking Kitsune's old camera (and he has a shiny new one) so hopefully I will have lots of cool pictures to bring back next week.

Is Georgia allowed to have a North?
Have fun, choco!

News on the tax refund front is getting betterer.
My ex-employer has a "copy" of the missing form - still not sure if this is the copy they were supposed to keep, or the copy I was supposed to get. Anyway, they've offered to send it on to the benefits office for me. So the tax office in Wales will already have my letter, and the benefits office in Southampton will get my P45 in about a week (seriously, the internal post system there is byzantine in its complexity - they admit it). So fingers crossed this two stroke approach will mean some £ by the end of the month.

I get a new sofa tomorrow. I won't have to keep throws on this one to cover the ugly places. And it's blue. I am truly a blue freak.

My heat pump was broken, leading to no AC. It turned out to be a bad wire. Easy fix for the heat pump guy, so it was not a big expense. Cool air blows on me right now. AC is the best invention ever.

No central AC, but the landlord has agreed to get me a screen door. Planted the garden, smell of cut grass and BBQ in the air - It's Spring!!!
