I got a nice little email from the Cellar this morning. Very thoughtful. Thank you, Cellar.

I took my 13 yr old daughter to a local college production of Little Shop Of Horrors on Sunday and she is still thanking me today. Considering that she usually behaves like someone just ran over her puppy, that is a minor miracle.

I think I may have located a friend from college. She dropped off our radars pretty quickly after graduation. She had a ChemE degree, and the Goog only turned up one person with her name, and that person was a DBA. Not a match, I thought.
After combing through and correlating other bits of data over the last few months, I think it must be her. I sent her an email and am crossing my fingers. After all, when I think about the twists my own career has taken it's not so hard to believe it could be her.

Just got 'dropped in on' at the lodge by two Marines I served with in 1971 that I haven't seen in a few years. We are all still fairly healthy and managed not to speak of the negatives of the war. In parting, they gave me a bottle of 12 yr scotch and a case of bangoliers. We were all discreetly misty. Life is good. RFN.

I met a very, very nice man who is good looking, gainfully employed and seems normal so far!! He invited me to lunch on friday!
*crosses fingers* My son will turn 18 in Oct. and it's just about time to get it out there.
