Hello! Thank you!
I am afraid a little bit. I think I will make many mistakes. But I will be glad if you correct me. |

There I was, scooting down the road on my way home, minding my own bidness, when, what's that? There, in the road. Is that? Is that a snake? It was a little cool, just after dark, and there, ran over in the road, was about four feet of what looked like the skinniest copperhead snake I've ever seen. First snake I've seen this year, I think.
Like I said, it was dark, and I didn't want to inspect a copperhead up close and personal, dead or not, so, I whipped out my old digital camera for a couple of snaps, so I could inspect it later, from the comfort and safety of my computer. Well, might as well stop putting it off...here's my "snake": That, friends and neighbors is about four feet of nylon tie-down strap. I must be a moron.

Looks like a snake to me.
I was walking with my wife years ago, and she saw a stick that looked a lot like a snake right there on the sidewalk. So she bent down to pick it up and examine it more closely, when it moved. Startled her and made me laugh. |

How do you know it wasn't a snake dressed as a strap for Halloween?

A friend is a Animal Control Officer (dog catcher) over in New Jersey. She's been called out more than once for rubber critters, usually snakes.

Does that kind of housework require wearing a French maid uniform?
