My father says he sees my wife in our daughter, but my wife and I both see all me. Though sometimes her expressions remind me of my grandmother on my mother's side.

Here's a photo of me when I was a little one. We have the same curly red hair, etc.

First day back at school for 2009

Aden on the left, Mav on the right.

eta: Just a minor brag. Aden was selected for the 'Academic Excellence' class for his year. We are as pleased as punch that all the hard work he put in last year has really paid off and he's now been offered this opportunity.

It's cool that your school year matches your calendar year.

Up here, we refer to an academic year with two years. (e.g. 2008-2009)

My wife and I stayed with our son's family for Christmas and I took portraits of everyone on XMAS eve. My wife bought them all Christmas type PJs. The baby was only 2 weeks old.

This is what they looked like about 15 years ago. I used to take them out a few times goose and duck hunting. They were too young to shoot but they did enjoy the outings with me and also drinking hot chocolate. I'm glad that they have both grown up with a deep and lasting friendship, sometimes siblings don't get along.
