Mar 13, 2009: Dog Boots
From November 1929, Modern Mechanix magazine, posted here.
I wonder, in 1929, what the chances of getting many rides were? Less traffic but moving slower and friendlier. No superhighway traffic whizzing by, but people not going as far. A man from Philadelphia, heading to Califormia, with a poodle? Ghey. I do like the dog's haircut though.

He looks right chipper in his boots, as if silenty saying, "Finally! Somebody gets me!"- a proud fellow, set apart from his own species by sheer force of will.
good for him!

November '29? That was never a pet. It was lunch on the hoof.

Probably not a problem since Google has 2,090,000 hits for dog boots.
