Homemade burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob, trimmings, cake, many Cokes, Gatorades, five varieties of beer and Jack and Cokes.

Why do you ask?

A slice of cold pepperoni pizza, and whole wheat pancakes--not homemade.

Obviously I missed the whole 4th of July cookout thing yesterday.

Fried chicken, new potato salad, cole slaw, biscuits, fresh blueberries and cherries, homemade strawberry lemonade. We had half a cherry pie with us, but didn't get to it. All eaten while waiting for the fireworks over Laurel Lake (so no booze, damn!)

BBQ shrimp, BBQ chicken, homemade cornbread, steamed corn, salad, storebought cookies and home-assembled Jell-O cups -- blueberry, Cool Whip, and cherry.

Hotdogs and cole slaw. I'm not ruining my diet just for 4th of July. That was a spurge and planned ahead for.

Bowl of oatmeal for breakfast.

Captian D's fish & shrimp for lunch. With leftovers in the late afternoon.

Salad for PM snack.

A blondie w/ice cream for dessert.

We, obviously, didn't do the cookout thing either.

I guess this is a thread about the 4th of July feasting, so sorry I wasn't celebrating that when I had mushroom risotto and bbq'd amberjack for lunch (leftover from Sat night dinner). I also ate about half a pound of strawberries, some pawpaw and a slice of the strawberry sponge cake I made in the morning.

The usual, burgers (homemade), hot dogs, corn and wild onions.
The steaks we left for tonight. Plus leftovers. The dogs loved the overdone burgers and dogs from the hotter grill (we didn't realize just HOW hot it got).

Beer was had by all, two cases bit the dust. Several varieties by taste.

TOO MUCH.

But I am eating less today.
I have to be fully alert for Torchwood tonight, so I am resisting temptation - I can't enjoy it fully feeling bloated and sluggish!
